What is the Blua app?

Blua is an app brought to you by Bupa, designed to help residents, whānau, family, friends and care teams stay connected. Blua makes everyday visible, bringing important information about care, activities and appointments into one place. It helps everyone stay informed, connected and involved, with more features to come, including secure messaging with the care home team.
Who is Blua for?

Blua is currently available to all Bupa permanent care home residents and their families and friends. Soon, we'll be extending Blua to our villages and then beyond, creating opportunities for more older New Zealanders to benefit from the connection, support and peace of mind Bupa and Blua provides.
How do I get the Blua app?

Blua is available by invitation. After consent has been provided, you'll receive an email invitation with instructions to download the app and get started. See the "Simple to join" section for more information.
