Welcome to Bupa Riverstone Care Home in Palmerston North

Bupa Riverstone Care Home is conveniently located next to a supermarket, cafes and bakery, with lovely rural views. Our modern and comfortable care home has 56 beds, with a mix of rest home, hospital and dementia levels of care, and a range of room types, including some with a private ensuite.

There are five different households at Riverstone; Tararua and Victoria offer rest home and hospital care, Ruahine and Tasman offer dementia level care, and Manawatū is a premium household offering rest home and hospital levels of care. Each household has separate lounges and dining areas.

During the day you can take part in our activities, enjoy our landscaped gardens and internal courtyards with a cup of tea, relax in one of our lounges, or spend time with family and friends in our bookable function room.

Riverstone Care Home has two separate internal courtyards and a secure dementia garden. We also have a hair salon, wellness room, whānau room and multi-purpose room.

Premium rooms

The premium household rooms have an ensuite, garden access, built in cabinetry, heat pump, TV and under bench fridge. All care rooms offer a single bed, bedside table, wardrobe, visitors chair, recliner chair and overhead ceiling hoist tracking.
