Bupa Villages and Aged Care New Zealand (Bupa NZ) has identified underpayments and, in some instances overpayments, to some current and former employees following a proactive compliance review of its pay related systems and processes. The underpayments relate to incorrect calculations of some pay and leave entitlements.  

We are truly sorry that this has happened. Our priority is ensuring those people who have been underpaid receive payment, as soon as possible.

If you are a former employee of Bupa NZ and you think you may be impacted by this, you do not have to do anything right now. We will contact you directly if you have been impacted, once we have the final details of who has been underpaid, and by how much. We expect that to be in the second half of this year.
