Bupa New Zealand were the first of the BUPA APAC group to move to 100% renewable electricity in April 2020. Since May 2021, Ecotricty has been our supplier of renewable electricity, this means we are now powered by a Toitū climate-positive certified 100% renewable electricity supplier.
Ecotricity’s Toitū climate positive certification means that they measure the emissions associated with the full value chain for their organisation and electricity product, set science-based reduction plans for the short and long term, and go beyond net carbon-zero by compensating at 125%, as well as contributing to additional environmental and social projects.
