The awards, which recognise retirement living institutions that have the highest customer satisfaction, saw Bupa attain five stars across all categories: Overall Satisfaction, Atmosphere, Facilities, Accommodation, Value for Money and Location.

Canstar Blue customer satisfaction research listed Atmosphere as the biggest driver of customer satisfaction in the 2023 findings. Over the last year, Bupa has improved across all variables, with the most significant lift in Atmosphere within its villages.
Canstar New Zealand’s General Manager Jose George says it was a remarkable achievement for Bupa to not only top the consumer ratings table, but to achieve five stars in every category.
