Situated in a quiet suburban area close to the Pauatahanui Inlet, Whitby is surrounded by a wealth of beautiful places to visit with your family, including the Duck Creek Scenic Reserve or The Lookout. We’re close to all amenities and the Porirua shops are just a short drive away.
We feel it is important for you to decide what you want to do with your day. If you prefer your own company, we will respect your decision, but we do offer lots of activities and entertainment for you to choose from. If you feel like getting out and about, we host many interesting trips - out to the Lighthouse Cinema for a movie, a picnic at the beach or a tour around the museum. You can get involved as much or as little as you like - it’s up to you how your spend your day.
You won’t want for company at Whitby - human or animal. Our resident cats are always lazing in the sun somewhere and we have regular canine visitors for your enjoyment. Your family are also welcome to bring your pets to visit us.
We have a great team at Whitby who are dedicated to making you feel at home with us. They will always go the extra mile, are happy to stop for a chat or join you for a bit of our wonderful home baking at morning tea.
