Situated on the outskirts of Gore, Windsor Park Care Home is surrounded by gardens and green open spaces. We look out towards the Hokonui Hills, as well as having a view over Gore so you can see the beauty of the town lights at night. We take regular trips to the Main Street shops, which are just a short drive away.
Built from Oamaru stone, our building is majestic both inside and out. Our rooms are large and we encourage you to bring your own furniture and belongings to make your room your own. We want you to feel at home here.
Features of Windsor Park:
• Friendly to make you feel at home.
• 24 hour assistance.
• Outdoor spaces to enjoy while you relax.
• Space for some quiet time.
• Communal dining room.
We have a wide range of activities available to suit lots of different interests and needs, including bowls, indoor games, cards and housie. We also regularly have entertainers visit us, from school groups, to musicians to acrobats. Every now and then, we’ll drive to the nearest beach for a picnic, visit other rest homes for some inter-rest home games, or attend an event like Crank Up Day. You can get involved as much or as little as you like - it’s up to you how your spend your day. View times and dates for our upcoming activities.
