Situated on the outskirts of Gore, Windsor Park Care Home is surrounded by gardens and green open spaces, overlooking the Hokonui Hills. We take regular trips to the Main Street shops, which are just a short drive away.

Built from Oamaru stone, our building is majestic both inside and out. Our rooms are large and we encourage you to bring your own furniture and belongings to make your room your own. We want you to feel at home here.

We have a wide range of activities available to suit lots of different interests and needs, including bowls, indoor games, cards and housie. We also regularly have entertainers visit us, from school groups, to musicians, to acrobats. Every now and then, we’ll drive to the nearest beach for a picnic, visit other rest homes for some inter-rest home games, or attend an event like Crank Up Day. You can get involved as much or as little as you like - it’s up to you how your spend your day.

Our wonderful, friendly staff are always willing to stop for a chat and enjoy getting to know both you and your family. They understand that every person is different and through learning about you, your likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests, they are able to provide you with person-centred care that always honours your wishes.
