Te Whanau Care Home

603 Queen Street East, Levin, 5510
Care Home Manager: Kelly Stichbury

Levels of care

  • Hospital Care
  • Rest Home Care

Located in a quiet residential area, Te Whanau is close to Levin’s many shops and other amenities.

Our building is modern and cheerful, with views of our attractive grounds and gardens.

Our beautiful cobblestone courtyard is a great place to relax with your family and friends and is a lovely barbecue area during the summer months. Inside we have comfortable lounges that are full of light and warmth.

We have lots of different activities and entertainment during the week, which you are welcome to join in with if you wish. We have bowls, cards and housie to choose from. Then again, if you prefer your own company, that's fine too and we will respect your decision. Our residents can be fiercely competitive at times though, especially during events such as our inter-rest home games and dance activities. It's all great fun.

Our carers are friendly and passionate about making sure your get the best out of life. They always go that extra mile and enjoy celebrating special events like birthdays and anniversaries with you. We believe that both you and your family should be involved in making decisions about your care and so we like to get to know you as an individual in order to provide care that meets your individual needs.

Te Whanau proudly holds a 3-year audit with the Ministry of Health. View the audit here.
