Nestled amongst the hills of the Kamo countryside, Merrivale is a peaceful place. Kamo village and shops are just up the road and a popular place to visit with the family. The Town Basin and Onerahi are favourite destinations for our van outings.
Our gardens are stunning, especially when the roses are in bloom. There are a number of lovely outside areas where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine and have a relaxing chat with your family, friends or other residents.
Features of Merrivale:
• Friendly to make you feel at home.
• 24 hour assistance.
• Gardens to enjoy while you relax.
• Space for some quiet time.
• Communal dining room.
We have strong ties to the local community and assist our residents to continue participating in community groups like the RSA. We encourage families to get involved in our activities and events. Recently, residents and their families organised a craft fair and used the money they raised to have a fancy lunch at Tutakaka. It’s your choice whether or not you want to take part though, we will always respect your wishes. View times and dates for our upcoming activities.
