With a Bupa medical alarm, you can feel safe in your own home, which means peace of mind for you and your family. You’ll still have the freedom to live as you like, but if something does happen, there’s the comforting notion that we can help arrange for the exact assistance you need.
In any kind of situation, at the press of a button, we’d be in touch with you right away. Once we know what’s happening, we will get the help you choose, whether it’s an ambulance, your family or perhaps you just need your neighbour to help you. No matter what is happening, you will get the help you need. We will stay on the line, support you or your carer until help arrives, and if things change while help is on the way, we are able to support you and keep the help informed. We can let your family and friends know if you’re taken to hospital.
We know that when it comes to care, everyone has unique, specific needs. So naturally, the way we take care of your needs is to individualise and tailor our service to best suit your situation.
Our friendly staff will be in contact with you a minimum of once a year to update your contacts and your details so that we can continue to give you the best possible service.
Primarily, we provide help so anyone can feel safer at home. We cater to people in a range of circumstances. Give us a call if:
- You live alone.
- You are a carer.
- You’re living with dementia.
- You’re living with a disability.
- You’re living with a life-threatening medical condition.
- If you are interested on behalf of another person.
- If you know someone who could benefit from having an alarm.

Safer at home with Bupa
Caring for a loved one at home can be both a precious and worrying experience. Familiar surroundings are comfortable and reassuring, but ensuring the safety of your loved one can be difficult at times.
Knowing whether they are still safe in bed, have moved from their favourite chair and not returned, have wandered outdoors is important information. People with a range of medical conditions or a higher risk of falls can find a Bupa sensor helpful, as can people needing night time care. Our services can be adapted to suit your individual needs. Unobtrusive sensors can be placed at strategic points in the home.
These will automatically raise an alert if activated either to a carer, via a personal pager or our 24 hour, seven day a week monitoring station. This allows your loved one more freedom at home and you, their carer or family can be more relaxed, secure in the knowledge that you will be alerted immediately, if needed.
If you’d like to know more, please call on 0800 60 80 99 to speak with one of our friendly Field Officers.
