Hayman Care Home

Hayman sits nicely in a quiet little corner of Wiri where our residents enjoy the comforts and companionship of home. We’re well known for our family atmosphere and encourage your own family and friends to come by at absolutely any time.

We’re a melting pot of diverse cultural backgrounds. Many of our carers come from all over the world and together we speak plenty of languages. We also know the importance of being sensitive to the varied cultural needs that you or many of our other residents may have.

Our wide range of activities means there’s plenty to fill your day, no matter what your interests: from dancing and exercise to crafts and gardening. We also hold inter-care home games, which you can get involved in by competing or cheering for our team. Getting out and about doesn’t stop when you live with us either; we take regular shopping trips and sightseeing and picnic trips around the Auckland area.

If you prefer the quiet life, you’re free to relax because it’s up to you how you spend your day. Everybody has different needs and that’s why we give you individual care. And as for all big decisions about your care, we make sure to talk with you and your family so that your wishes will always be respected.

You’re welcome to visit us any time to look around. Feel free to contact our Care Home Manager, Melissa Clements on (09) 262 1651 or 027 237 4584 after hours.

Hayman boasts an excellent audit record with the Ministry of Health. You’ll find their latest results here.

Our own annual Resident Satisfaction Survey aims to get direct feedback from residents and their families on how they enjoy life at our care homes. Here’s Hayman’s latest Resident Satisfaction Survey results.
