You can find us in Rotorua, close to all amenities, on an expansive site with established trees and wide open spaces to enjoy.
A stylish, modern home
At Redwood you will enjoy an attractive home which is warm, light and spacious – in fact, we have the largest retirement homes in Rotorua! All homes contain:

- open-plan lounge and dining area
- fresh décor and modern appliances
- light fittings and curtains
The 20 new villas also contain an en-suite bathroom, and the majority of homes have a heat pump – so you can stay warm in winter and cool in summer.
Each unit and villa has been built with high-quality materials, so you will enjoy a home that looks good and is a pleasure to live in. You won’t have to worry about maintenance – it’s all taken care of.
Companionship and independence
One of the benefits of retirement village living is the opportunity to meet like-minded people. Redwood offers a busy social calendar, with regular outings, movies, visits from entertainers and more to choose from. The new community centre is the social hub of the village, with coffee mornings, exercise classes, happy hours, DVD afternoons and a barbeque area for you to enjoy. Family and friends are welcome any time, staying overnight if they wish.
You will appreciate the liveliness of the village, but also the freedom to determine your level of participation.
Freedom and security
Village living has enabled many of our residents to free themselves from the costs and worries of home maintenance. Now they have the time, money and peace of mind for more enjoyable pursuits.
At Redwood you will have the freedom to come and go as you choose. Security patrols ensure the village is protected throughout the night, so you can happily lock up your home and go on holiday, knowing you home and possessions are much safer than in the general community.

- Meals, for a small fee
- 7 days free respite care per year at Redwood Home and Hospital
- Priority access to the rest home and hospital, if necessary
Having an on-site rest home provides the perfect set-up for couples with different health needs, as it is possible to live close by while still having the needs of both partners met.

Redwood offers an enjoyable, stimulating retirement lifestyle without the big price tag. You will find our homes are very competitively priced, and a weekly fee will cover bills such as water, rates, insurance and the maintenance of units, villas and communal facilities.
