Resident's & Relative's Committee
Bupa Care Services have a National Residents and Relatives Committee. The objectives of the committee is to improve the care and services we provide to our residents and their families by getting feedback from them and to improve communication between Bupa and it’s families and residents.
The committee meet every six weeks, focusing on issues at a governance level. Each of the Managers in our care homes has an open door policy and we encourage any residents and relatives who have concerns, issues or feedback on care and services at the care home, to discuss these in the first instance with the care home manager or email any of the following committee members with their concerns.
The Residents and Relatives Committee are:
Bob Bale – Bob’s mother is a resident at Fergusson - our care home in Upper Hutt. Bob can be contacted via email – paulette.bob@xtra.co.nz
Mr Richard Birdsey - Richard is a resident and lives at Remuera Lifecare in Auckland
Mrs Lola Bond – another committee member who lives at Remuera Lifecare. Both Richard and Lola can be contacted via the manager at Remuera – patsy.sherman@bupa.co.nz
Mrs Jean Colbeck - Jean is a resident’s representative - Jean’s husband is a resident at BeachHaven Hospital on Auckland’s North Shore. Jean is also a Registered Nurse and the care home manager. She can be contacted on jean.colbeck@bupa.co.nz
Dr Dwayne Crombie – is our CEO. He can be contacted on dwayne.crombie@bupa.co.nz
Dr Maree Todd - is a Consultant Geriatrician who works one day a week with Bupa . Maree can be contacted on maree.todd@bupa.co.nz
Gina Langlands - is a Registered Nurse and is the GM responsible for promoting quality within Bupa. Gina can be contacted on gina.langlands@bupa.co.nz
