Bupa Care Services have a National Residents and Relatives Committee. The objectives of the committee is to improve the care and services we provide to our residents and their families by getting feedback from them and to improve communication between Bupa and it’s families and residents.
The committee meet five times a year, focusing on issues at a governance level. Each of the Managers in our care homes has an open door policy and we encourage any residents and relatives who have concerns, issues or feedback on care and services at the care home, to discuss these in the first instance with the care home manager or email any of the following committee members with their concerns.
Richard Birdsey - Richard is a resident and lives at Remuera Lifecare in Auckland.
Lola Bond - another committee member who lives at Remuera Lifecare. Both Richard and Lola can be contacted via the Care Home Manager at Remuera.
Jean Colbeck - Jean is a resident’s representative - Jean’s husband is a resident at BeachHaven Hospital on Auckland’s North Shore. Jean is also a Registered Nurse and the Care Home Manager. She can be contacted on
Gina Robinson - Gina is a relative whose husband is a resident at BeachHaven Hospital.
Dr Dwayne Crombie - is our Managing Director. He can be contacted on
Dr Maree Todd - is a Consultant Geriatrician who works one day a week with Bupa. Maree can be contacted on
Gina Langlands - is a Registered Nurse and is the General Manager responsible for promoting quality within Bupa. Gina can be contacted on
Lisa Chambers - is our Communications Manager and can be contacted on
Mary Parker - Mary's Husband is a resident at Eventhorpe, one of our Care Homes in Hamilton. Mary can be contacted through Cherry McFarlane, Care Home Manager at Eventhorpe.
Eldred Boyce - Eldred's Husband is a resident at Waterlea, our Care Home in Blenheim. Eldred can be contacted through Kathy Hargreaves, Care Home Manager at Waterlea.
