A number of District Health Boards offer Nursing Entry to Practice (NETP) programmes which the Ministry of Health provide funding for. This initiative supports new graduates completing their first year of practice in a non government organization. Bupa Care Services work closely with DHBs where nurses wish to take up positions in residential aged care.
Bupa Care Services is one of New Zealand’s largest residential aged care providers with 45 care homes throughout NZ and, in partnership with DHB, we are able to offer placements for the new graduate nurse.
You will develop your clinical assessment technique, learn supervision and delegation skills along with numerous other leadership skills. We offer placements in a range of locations and residential aged care settings which include hospital level care, dementia care, psycho-geriatric and rest home level care.
In partnership with the DHBs we will offer you mentorship and clinical support. We will release you for ‘study’ in order to participate in the associated District Health Board Nursing Entry to Practice Programme.
Bupa Care Services can offer new graduates competitive remuneration rates
