Bupa Care Services provides continuing care to older New Zealanders, with products and services to help them get the most out of life - whether they’re living in their own homes or in residential care.

We are among New Zealand’s largest operators of Care Homes, nursing Hospitals and assisted living Retirement Villages. We have 46 Care Home and Hospital facilities, containing close to 3,000 beds, as well as 14 Retirement Villages which contain a total of 600 units, apartments and serviced apartments. Care Homes are located nation wide from Whangarei in the North to Timaru in the South. We are also a major player in New Zealand’s medical alarm business. Corporate support is provided in three locations; Newmarket, Porirua and Tauranga. In total our company employs around 3,300 staff across New Zealand.

Bupa Care Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bupa. Bupa is a commercially run not for profit international company incorporated in the UK, which specialises in aged care and private health insurance. Having no shareholders enables Bupa to reinvest all profits into the business, thus investing in the welfare of customers and employees.
